A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Meezan Bank Ltd. and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Rahim Yar Khan Campus, on December 30, 2024. The MoU aims to enhance faculty development, particularly in contemporary courses on Islamic Banking. As part of this collaboration, Meezan Bank Ltd. will bear the course fees to support this initiative.

Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Athar Khan, Director of IUB, RYK Campus, signed the MoU on behalf of the university, while Mr. Manan represented Meezan Bank Ltd. during the signing ceremony.

Dr. Fahad Javed Baig, Campus Coordinator and Head of the Department of Management Sciences, along with Mr. Junaid Anwer, Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences, have been designated as the focal persons for this partnership.

The collaboration underscores a shared commitment between the two institutions to advance knowledge and promote Islamic Banking, fostering mutual growth and understanding in this vital sector.
