As one of the largest universities in the country, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has extended its academic reach to serve the communities of Rahim Yar Khan and neighboring districts, including regions in Sindh and Balochistan. Since its inception, the Rahim Yar Khan Campus has played a significant role in the development and prosperity of both the region and the nation. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has been instrumental in this journey by providing financial assistance and expanding access to higher education. Key features of the campus include: total land area of 80 acres, with 45 acres part of Sheikh Khalifa Park, modern academic buildings, 32 Academic Departments, foreign qualified faculty, boy and girls hotel in the boundary of RYK Campus, central library, Jamia Masjid, water filtration plant, medical center, day care center, HEC lab, computer labs, sciences labs, Comprehensive transport services including an ambulance, main auditorium, executive meeting hall, information technology help desk, wifi facility, sports grounds, and fitness gym.
