About

Dr. Naeem Shafqat is currently an Assistant Professor and serves as the Head of the Department of
Mathematics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Rahim Yar Khan Campus.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, in 2017 and possesses over
15 years of teaching experience across various higher education institutions.
Dr. Shafqat’s primary research expertise lies in Fixed Point Theory and its applications. A dedicated academic,
he has successfully supervised more than 22 M.Phil. students in their research programs. He continues to
contribute significantly to the mathematical sciences through his commitment to teaching, mentorship, and
