The Department of Management Sciences IUB, RYK Campus, proudly participated in the 1st Small Business Ideas Expo held on April 23–24, 2025, at the Rahim Yar Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Secretariat.

Among the 40 business ideas showcased, eight were presented by the talented students of the Department of Management Sciences, reflecting the department's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.

A notable highlight was the achievement of a student group comprising M. Arif Ali, Manahil Samee and Aliza Saleem under the mentorship of Mr. M. Junaid Anwer, Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences, who secured the second position and received a cash prize of PKR 50,000 .

This accomplishment aligns with the vision of Dr. Fahad Javed Baig, Head of the Department, who emphasizes cultivating students to become not only job seekers but also job creators* . The success also reflects the unwavering support and *leadership of Prof. Dr. Hafiz Ather Khan, Director of the Rahim Yar Khan Campus, who consistently encourages and facilitates student participation in such initiatives.
